Even though we feel that double glue application is not enough and manual edge banding still deserves further development, that is the reason why we came up with a unique, innovated and efficient edgebander with an improved glue application mechanism, which shifts the quality of glue application towards industrial stationary edge banding machines.

The world’s first edgebander with a rechargeable accumulator battery for a cordless use
DR500 is the world’s first edgebander, which works without a cord thanks to its rechargeable accumulator providing you with maximum comfort and efficiency. After disconnecting the cord, the accumulator takes over and without a change feeds the tape and continues with the application of the glue. You can even switch on the heating of the glue pot with the hot melt adhesive.

The thickness of the edge can vary from 0.4 – 3mm.
The tape feed is set to an optimal state during the production. Change the pre-set only under special circumstances (glueing extra thin edges).

Unique system will, with high precision, glue an edge within a range of 10 – 65 mm.
The application mechanism is designed to apply the adhesive on 100% of the height and length of the edging tape. The innovated system of application always achieves great results with all varieties of tapes while maintaining a minimal edging radius.

AND ALSO – rapid heating of the glue
The range of temperature has two regimes so that the glue would not overheat. You can quickly switch between those two.
• Regime 1 is for activity between 120°C-200°C.
• Regime 2 (low temperature) is for activity between 80°C-155°C.
The rapid heating in the new edgebander can heat the glue in 5 minutes to the desired temperature. You have to wait up to 15 minutes with other edgebanders.

There is no leaking of the heat from the machine thanks to an improved system, which makes working with the edgebander much safer.
The following temperatures were measured at 190° and after 30 minutes of use.
