The JET Cyclone dust collection unit was a real bargain…

Mr Michek and his organ

Was one of the first things we heard from pleased Mr Michek. That’s why we set out to visit him in his workshop to record his experience with the JET JCDC-3.

Mr Michek welcomed us in his workshop, where he specializes in restoration of organs. He works on two premises, where he deals with the restoration of historical organs on the basis of a state-issued license.

setup of JET dust extractors

The dust collection system in one of his premises needed changing as the service of his mobile multi-bag collectors was coming to an end.

Mr Michek needed a central system that would remove dust and chips from 8 different machines for the whole 100 m2 workshop

The last machine connected to the system is 28 meters away from the collector. At the same time he didn’t want to release the filtered air out of the workshop, therefore, Mr Michek sought a powerful dust extraction unit with perfect filtration abilities and quality performance.

Thanks to recommendations from abroad, where the use of cyclone units is common, the JET JCDC-3 cyclone unit caught his eye. It was a step into the unknown which however paid off. Thanks to the cyclone construction and the placement of turbine behind the first stage of waste separation, the system is able to suck the waste into the cyclone instead of having to pump it in.

This system is highly effective, efficient and virtually without losses in performance. The efficiency of the first stage separation is almost 100% while only the finest dust reaches the second filtration stage. This system prevents the microfiltration extension from getting clogged.

Mr Michek also incorporated a special feature into the system by installing a waste barrel straight under the unit in his basement.

Usually, he would have to pay double for a similar unit with the same performance. But thanks to the JET Cyclone, he was able to save up to 30% on the entire central suction system.

Recommendation from Mr Michek:
“The simplicity and efficiency of suction even from the last machine in the workshop is just unbelievable. The noise is tolerable even though the unit is directly in the workshop. Thanks to the remote control, the unit can be turned on from anywhere around our workshop. I must admit, the cyclone unit is excellent. The decision to purchase the JET Cyclone Unit was definitely a correct one and I am happy to recommend it for similar purposes.”
